My 1 month old daughter has diaper rash with red bumps. With home treatment, the bumps are now less red and more of skin color. Does this means that the rash is getting better or should I seek medical advice? Thanks in advance.

You are already seeking medical advice :)
No you don't have to visit a doctor for nappy rash every time. Just see that the diaper is used only for limited hours, like while sleeping, and while taking your baby out.
Apply coconut oil.
Apply any diaper rash cream generously , while using a diaper.
Avoid using talcum powder.
rinse off any detergent/antiseptics from clothes before drying them under the sun.
best wishes
