Diabetic and low haemoglobin
Im taking iron and calcium supplements on alternate days... but would also like to add some foods to improve my haemoglobin count...  Can a diabetic eat Black raisins (4..5 peices) and Anjeer (Dried Figs) - 2 pieces all soaked overnight in a glass of water... and having on empty stomach... Will this trouble my blood sugar levels ... please suggest

After eating fruits check sugar levels after 2 hrs and if above range then decide . If you are having diet control and medicine properly then 4-5 pieces won’t affect but still best judgement will come if you check sugar level 2 hrs after consumption

Small quantity of these will not harm your blood sugar . If ur sugar HbA1c is within normal range if not done kindly do . Supplements are only needed if one is deficient. Otherwise normal balanced diet is ok. Kindly get your serum calcium and iron levels done then only take iron and calcium supplements.
