Hello,     Diabetes and Thyroid are mebolic disorders. They are not diseases. When you neglect them and do not take good care of them then they cause diseases like heart problems, kidney diseases, eye problems, strokes, etc. In case of diabetes sugars will be controlled with medication, exercise and diet control. Its not avoiding foods you should know how to substitute foods. Eat at regular intervals in small amounts i.e. major meals include breakfast, lunch & dinner. In between the major meals have minor snacks like vegetable salads, fruits, sprouts,Marmara (puffed rice),poha( rice flakes),oats, cornflakes, popcorn. Fruits like guava, orange, mosambi, watermelon, musk melon, papayya, pomegranate seeds,1/2 apple   Have lots of buttermilk in between meals Avoid deep fries and pickles, coconut, groundnut chutneys, tubers like potato, sweet potato, yam, colocasia, banana, either raw or ripe, mango, custard apple, chikoo, and grapes. For thyroid, do not eat cauliflower, cabbage, spinach Please keep sugars and thyroi under control.   Wish you a healthy living
