High blood sugars though they may not show any symptoms, effect different organs of the body. They do so very slowly and thus many people do not know that they have diabetes. Only after the blood Sugars have affected the organs to a high degree do we start getting symptoms. By that time a lot of damage has already taken place. If you stop your medications now the damage which has already taken place, which may have started getting repaired while you were taking medications, will again start. Yes, you will need to keep on consulting a doctor, and it will take time, for us to come at a dosage which will be good for you.
