Diabetes, On Dialysis, Kidney Damage 80%
My Mother is undergoing Hemodialysis twice a week , according to doctor her kidney is 80% damaged. Her creatinine level has gone upto 8.4, Her diabetes level also remain as high as 350-390 during day, and fasting goes ranges from 150-300. I want to know if she should keep on having dialysis and for how long or should we go for kidney transplant.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. .you can go for kidney transplant but the chances of finding a donor for her are very low. Till then, dialysis will be required and necessary for her.
