The doctor told me I have to go through surgery as my right nostril is blocked so I was worried is it a major surgery and what are some precaution I can take and RECOVERY time

In any Surgery some complications are there but if its for deviated nasal septum mostly it goes well without complications Most times. Recovery is mostly in 2-3 day.
