Hello. When you say "I can't stay anywhere without my family" , you are actually saying "I don't want to stay or I choose not to stay without my family ". So it's a choice you're making every time there's a situation where you might have to stay away from family. Perhaps there are some fears in your mind about staying away from family. Some examples are as follows - "What if something serious happens in the family and I'm not there to help?" "What if something happens to me and I can't contact them?" "When my family is celebrating some event or a festival, I won't be there. Will they miss me? " Questions like these might be coming into your mind. In other words, you may be afraid of the uncertainty and a sense of insecurity when away from family. IT could also mean you're not willing to accept change in your life, as far as family is concerned.
Next Steps
Acknowledge the fact situations in life always change. In stead of resisting that change, why not embrace it? Accept change as an integral part of life. Once you accept it as a part of your own life, you will be able to take more risks. You will be able to challenge yourself to stay away from family and build up your independent existence. Of course, that will mean you would be missing out on some family functions, you may not be able to be present if any emergency comes in the family, etc. But, will that be too terrible? Will you not be able to tolerate it at all? If your life depends on it, will you be able to stay away from your family? Such questions need to be asked. The answers will help you fine the confidence to go out into the world and build your life.
