Yes there is very much chances to overcome depression without medication like antidepressant. U can consult psychologist or me Online or offline and take proper Mental health management. Homoeopathy has very wonderful results in such cases and it has no or less side effects. U can take homoeopathic treatment online ir offline along with psychological help.

Hello! Having depression and taking medication for the same doesn't mean that you're weak. Depression is like any other physical ailments and taking help for your own health and wellbeing is never weak. But yes, if you're wanting to resolve the issues causing depression without medication, it is possible. But for the time being, continue with the medication and finish your course. Along with that, you can visit a psychotherapist, probably a cognitive hypnotherapist in order to resolve the issues right from the root cause. A psychotherapist/cognitive hypnotherapist will help you in whatever way you want- whether its changing lifestyle or increasing willpower or any other way you want.
Next Steps
1. Finish the course of medication 2. Visit a psychotherapist/ cognitive hypnotherapist, side-by-side

Dear mam Thank you for your query. There is a lot of stigma and misunderstanding about depression and antidepressant medications. For eg, . If you get fever or if you have malaria and a doctor prescribes you medication, will you hesitate to take it or will you want to fight it and defeat malaria by your will power and not take medication? Depression is an illness which has a biological basis and is caused by changes in the level of chemicals in the brain and disruptions in the nerve circuits that regulate your mood and emotions. It is not a sign of weakness and taking medication is also not a sign of weakness just like taking medicine for malaria does not mean you are weak. A stressful situation, such as unemployment can can act as a trigger but it is the neuro chemical imbalance that leads to depression. Antidepressant are quite safe medication, will help you with your depression. You have a right to refuse medication but I will advise you to have a detailed discussion with your psychiatrist. Apart from medication, depression can be treated by psychological therapy alone if it is mild or in combination with medication for moderate to severe depression. You can try psychological therapy along with lifestyle modification of you really don't want to continue medication Hope this helps Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Hello, I can understand your feelings here. Firstly, even if you have depression that doesn’t mean you’re weak. It’s like any other physical issue. You must’ve consulted a psychiatrist which is why medications have been given. If you like, you could visit a therapist and decide. However please remember that in some cases if it’s very severe, medication is required. Leave it upto diagnosis. Having medications for a difficulty isn’t weak either, it indicates you’re strong enough to take steps for your betterment! Please keep in mind that mental health conditions can occur even otherwise, so no just getting a job by itself may not resolve your problem. Though, it may still make you feel better. For queries, please feel free to connect.
