I’ve been feeling really low recently… my granny died a year ago now and I’ve never felt the same. I feel as if my smiles are fake atm

You are going through a loss of a loved one. What you say shows that you would have been really attached to your granny and her loss you would not been able to accept. Therefore it must be feeling like you have lost a part of yourself. Everyone goes through a cycle of loss when we lose someone we love. It has not passed for you easily coz of some ways of emotional dependence may be on the person who's lost.
Next Steps
you should try to distract yourself by involving in activities you like, friends, socialising. Try to find a person where you can share all your feelings with. Try to find yourself certain ways of feeling good.
