Hii. The pain might be either due to the cavities present in the oral cavity which are unattended or due to the wisdom tooth eruption. As for gums you might require oral prophylaxis which increases your gum health. A proper full mouth check up is required.

Hi, First of all there is nothing to be afraid of the dentist as fear do not resolve any of the problems. Consult your dentist and feel free to talk about your problems and plan accordingly. As for the problem , you need to do a complete dental checkup to find what causes the pain (any cavities, infections etc) which can only be done by a dentist . So fear not and just pay a visit to your nearby dentist and do a checkup as soon before the pain gets any further.

If you fear dentist your problems will go on aggravating. Fear can just postpone and complicate simple treatments. No home remedies can repair tooth damage. Now a days dental instruments have become very much advanced making the treatments almost painless. Visit dentist for clinical examination and x ray. Kindly go through the blog mentioned in the link below.

Hi. You may have a cavity associated with that tooth which has lead to infection from the crown to the root and the surrounding tissues around the root which might have lead to inflammation and hence pain while biting. The other reason could be infection from the gums travelling down to your root area leading to inflammation. Kindly post your x ray here and please do visit your dentist as soon as possible. Do not delay.
