Yes using mouthwash regularly after brushing during night helps in maintaining dental hygiene.but donot use vigrously because some mouthwash causes staining of teeth.
For kids above 5 you can use kidodent tooth paste

1. Yes it is good of using mouth wash regularly before going to bed..It will improve your gum health and get rid of bad odour by reducing plaque formation...
Method of using mouth rinse:
** Take 10_15 ml in the cap and donot mix it with water...
**Put it in your mouth and then do rinse for 30 sec and then spit it off
**Do not rinse with normal/hot water for atleast half an hour after mouth rinsing
**Do not drink ,eat for atleast half an be after using mouth wash
2. Use fluoridated tooth paste...In colgate brand they provide toothpaste in the specifics age group manner...

Use dental floss too twice in a day
2. Use kedodent tooth paste.

In mouthwash use Chlohex ADS mouthwash and not listerine. It will help a lot.
Cherokee toothpaste is recommended for kids
