Dengue Fever
My son had dengue in June 2015. First blood test showed IgG: Positive, IgM: negative and NS1: Positive. Doctor explained that he had a previous case of dengue also (which was undetected). In the 2nd one in June 2015, his platelet count dropped to 1.2 lac before going up and reaching normal levels in 3 days. From then, I get extremely worried whenever he gets fever. He is 8 years old now. What can I do to ensure he never gets dengue and if he does what are the points I need to take care of.

For prevention of dengue you have to follow mosquito preventive measures like use nets, repallents, full sleeve clothes, proper sanitation near by etc.If he acquires dengue again give him paracetamol round the clock and good hydration.
