My son is 13 yrs. his antigen for dengue came positive. Today is his 3rd day. In starting his fever was going high till 104-5. Now it's going till 103. He is having loose motions 3-4 times a day and vomit twice, at mid night and afternoon.
Now his temperature is 99.9 and he is shivering like anything. What should I do? I just have given him Meftal 500 at 11:40. Dolo was given at 9:15.
Current Medicines
Dolo 650 in every 5 hrs
Meftal, if fever goes 101 and high
Zifi cv 200
Econorm Sachet
ORS
DIET FOLLOW
Coconut water 3 times a day
Apple
Kiwi
Mashed banana
Mashed papaya
Chapati sabzi
Goat milk
Papaya leaf extract
Please suggest for shivering

Keep oral intake like ors, soups, etc
Check CBC regularly,
If vomiting or not taking oral food properly, please visit doctor immediately.
Regular Doctor check up required.

His pulse,blood pressure and HR need to be monitored
Please do undergo physical checkup first

Please repeat his cbc every alternate day.
Shivering - indicates fever, so check temperature.
Also, cover him up with 2-3 quilts.
See that he is hydrated well- very important
Sorry to hear he is not well. Dengue can make children very unwell, it will be best for him to be examined physically if things are not improving already
