My daughter has been sick for the last five days. Her symptoms were fever and body aches. 4 days before we checked her blood for dengue and report came positive. IgM positive and IgG negative. Her platelets count was 259000 on Wednesday, on Thursday plates count was reduced to 223000. Dr prescribed syrup plateboost, Syrup Fevfast and asked to give her well fluid, fruits and meals. Dr said no need for hospitalization now, we will see after the next report. Today we checked her platelets which were reduced to 179000. Today Dr said we will do her CBC on the 27th. Till then continue the said treatment.
My question is what to do? She is not feeling good and continuously sleeping. Hospitalization will help for fast recovery. What must we do next?
