Delayed period in adolescent
My daughter attained menarche when she is 10 years old .after menarche her periods used to be irregular ie every 2 months she used to get her period .but she had prolonged bleeding in Nov 2019.so doctor prescribed her Crina Ncr 10 mg for 20 days.after completing medication she had period with large clots and period lasted for 7 days.it had been 5 months my daughter didn't get her period.her last period was 29thdec 2019. Is her period delayed due to the side effects of harmonal tablet.If not when my daughter will get her period. My daughter is 11 years 9 months old now. Seeking your advice at the earliest. At the onset of puberty , this is very common. The cycles will establish but check her for basic Thyroid test and weight gain issues if it s there. There is nothing to worry. Because she had a period of absent menstruation , the following cycles were heavy . Also it is enough if she gets periods for atleadt 6 months in a year

Hi. At the time of puberty the cycles are irregular . Since it is 5 months you can give her Meprate 10mg twice a day for 5 days . After stopping the tab shewill get periodscafter 10 to 15 days . Her normal rhythm will come after 2 to 3 yrs .
