My daughter who is 12 years 3 months old didn't get her period since 3 months.her last period was on 14th July 2020.what could be the cause for delay?should she wait for some more time to get her periods naturally or need to consult gynecologist? please advice?she attained menarche when she is 10 years 5 months old.

There can be anovulation. Needs with drawal bleeding

Hello!
During the first few years the brains will be adjusting to function as regular cycles from ovary. If she has always had regular cycles and now skipped you may consult a gynecologist to identify cause. Could be hormonal/thyroid issue also.
