Delay in vaccination due to lockdown
Hi, can you please let me know how long i can delay my chid 6 week vaccination which was scheduled on 30th March. I am worried to take her to hospital for the same.

We at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science Research, Qutab institutional Area New Delhi are giving 30 minutes staggered appointment for vaccination from 9 to 1 pm only to prevent overcrowding . We are all necessary precautions and screening.

Consult with your Peadiatrician. Primary immunization upto 6 months of age should not be delayed as per the latest guidelines.

Although vaccination should not be delayed by 7 days from assigned dates but during lockdown period few hospitals are giving vaccination services in these days if possible try .. if not possible then wait for 10 more days then try ... there will be no significant impact due to delay ...so don’t worry

Its a primary course of vaccination ideally should be given on Time but if delayed by unavoidable circumstances can be with held..
