My daughter is 17 months 7 days old..
She does these following things
1. Claps, Responds to her name very well,Contact eyes,Come to me whenever I say come and put her hands up for getting up.Plays peek a boo.Throws ball ,smiles ,Takes ac remote and point at ac,Place comb over her head,Walks well but not independently, babbles mumma papa,.
2: Never wave ,Does not point at herself or body parts or anything she wants. If she wants something she takes that by herself or scratches my face ,If I say where is your sister? she looks at her sister's photo( actually her own photo) but does not point.

I don’t see any thing wrong. She is growing and many milestones have variable times to achieve. Gross milestones also are attained at wide spectrum of ages. In case of doubt get developmental assessment.
There are good social skills present, which is reassuring. However, absence of pointing and waving by 17 months and limited expressive language justify a developmental assessment. This does not confirm autism, but the child should not simply be observed without follow-up.
I totally understand your concern. Before suggesting treatment, I would like to ask a few questions to ensure the correct management can be provided.

Your child is running a little below time. And the things your child does are good but you must visit a paediatrician for proper assesment
We need to assess other domains as well so it will be better if you visit in person to a paediatrician
Greetings
Your daughter shows many wonderful strengths, including excellent eye contact, strong name response, and social engagement through peek-a-boo.The hand-flapping, W-sitting, and lack of pointing are common developmental variations that warrant monitoring but are not definitive signs of a developmental disorder.Your doctor's recommendation for play school is an excellent, proactive step to encourage peer imitation, social communication, and independent walking.Early intervention programs or specialized speech and occupational therapy consultations can provide targeted strategies to help her transition from scratching to functional communication.Every child develops at their own unique pace, and addressing these specific areas early provides the best foundation for her growth.
