Hello.. Usually third molars are not restored.. Root canal also mostly not done because it will be difficult to access through the instruments. The third molar in most conditions are impacted.. First and second molars are enough for chewing.. And mostly third molars are extracted.. Don't worry about extraction.. Follow up with your opg or xray of that teeth, to confirm the treatment method.. Thank you..

Hello. You require an OPG (full mouth x-ray) Deep caries in the 3rd molar can be treated by either extraction of the tooth or root canal treatment. To perform a root canal you will need an OPG to determine the position of the tooth in the jaw. In case of an horizontally angulated tooth, it is best advised to extract the tooth. Kindly visit a dentist for definitive diagnosis and treatment

There are some endodontists and also other dentists who do take up Root canal procedures or restorations of the the third molar, depending on the radiographic and clinical analysis.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist to get an X Ray/ OPG done. If the condition does not allow extraction, then a restoration/RCT may be undertaken depending upon the analysis.
Health Tips
In case the tooth is indicated for extraction, better to go in for that.
