Dark spot on nose
My 3 years old son has generated dark spot on nose after applying dettol upon small cut on the nose 2 weeks before. Pls guide how to get rid of the dark spot.

Dark spot is caused by the injury as well as the strong dettol.
Applying moisturizer and sunscreen (preferably prescribed by a dermatologist) help lighten such marks.
However, pigmentation lightening creams are available and can be prescribed only after consultation with a dermatologist.

never use dettol at such a tender age, as the skin is very sensitive. it is very harsh on skin for many adults too.
nothing to worry,, the pigmentation will self resolve, after a couple of months to a year at max. it doesn't need any intervention.
