in PCO there is a hormonal imbalance, and to gain excess milk cattls are being injected by hormones .. not definate studies or evidence but because of this it is sometimes advise to avoid milk products by some physicians. PCO usually leads to diabetes it's common.  It also causes weight gain..  Basically it's complex of disease. So start homoeopathic treatment early.. And keep your weight in control.

Dairy foods are not strictly prohibited , you can consume milk and products to enjoy their nutritive values but in a limit. Excess consumption of dairy which is a carbohydrate can lead to an increase in blood glucose level and also stimulate insulin growth factors.
