Daily episodes of chest heaviness
I’m having daily episodes where my chest feels heavy in the middle, and I feel like I can’t breathe properly even when I try deep breaths. My heart beats fast during these episodes. It happens randomly.

Dear patient, Based on your symptoms—chest heaviness, difficulty breathing even with deep breaths, and fast heartbeat—it’s possible you are experiencing anxiety or panic episodes, but other medical causes like asthma, anemia, thyroid issues, or heart rhythm abnormalities also need to be ruled out.
Next Steps
Investigations needed: • ECG and possibly 24-hour Holter monitoring • CBC (complete blood count) • Thyroid profile • Chest X-ray (if needed) If symptoms worsen or if ECG shows any changes, we may refer to a cardiologist or psychologist based on the findings.
Health Tips
Lifestyle advice: • Avoid caffeine, processed sugar, and irregular sleep • Practice daily breathing exercises or meditation
