Daily consumption of beet
Hello, Beets are super food to consume, but I read about a few side effects including kidney stones, if consumed in high amount. Can I get an idea how much is adequate amount and would not cause any side effects to the body.. same time would be enough for the body needs. Would 1 beet per day, would be gud or should I reduce the quantity of it in salad.. Kindly suggest. Thank you. Regards.

Hello, Hope you are doing well. Beets are loaded with nutrients like fibre, iron, vitamin C, potassium, etc. It is great for people with Anaemia, Hypertension (high blood pressure) and helps to boost exercise performance. 1 beet a day is perfectly fine to consume. You only need to be cautious if you have any medical condition (low blood pressure, kidney stones, etc)

Greetings from Health & Diet Clinic !☺️ Eating beetroot can be harmful to patients suffering from low blood pressure, consuming beetroot lowers the blood pressure even more.  People suffering from stone problems should not include beetroot in their diet. If you consume one cup of beet daily then it will deliver up to 4 grams of dietary fiber which are mainly insoluble in nature.

we can provide you a customised diet plan as per your body's requirements. you can contact us through practo.
