What is general level of d dimer? My current d dimer level is 352 Does I need blood thinner? I am handicap person and I was covid positive on 25th Apr. I also taken ecosprin for 17 days Do I need take blood thinner according to my d dimer level

Your d-dimer seems marginally elevated.. we need to correlate your d dimer with your symptoms/in relation to the day of test and along with other inflammatory markers suck as LDH/ferritin/IL6/hsCRP/ESR You can let me know about any increasing breathlessness or swelling in the legs

Inform me the said investigation..depending upon your history we can plan if repeat d-dimer is needed or we need to start some blood thinners

The normal d Dimer levels vary with the lab. If you are asymptomatic and the d D-dimer level is not elevated, it's not necessary to take blood thinners. Continue to do your routine activities.
