Cyst on scalp
It's been 7 years that I have a red color cyst on my scalp which looks like a fluid filled lump...what should I do?There's no pain, nothing.. please tell me if the cyst is of any concern... do I need surgery for it ... I am scared that if there will be any surgery will my hair be removed from the scalp?

Likely Could be a scalp sebaceous cyst. If it's troublesome, it can be removed. It can be sent for biopsy as well to lay your concerns to rest as well.

This looks like a sebaceous cyst of the scalp.. It's an entirely harmless condition and if it is not causing any problems to you presently, it can be left alone with no long term consequences.. Is you feel it's troubling you, it can be removed by a very minor surgical procedure, which can be done on day care basis.. please do not panic about it.. Best is to consult a neurosurgeon or general surgeon nearby to help you manage this condition..
