Cyst on left ovary
Hello, I have been diagnosed with a cyst on left ovary, it measured 1cm x 1cm on 1st June 2019 and I was advised to get a repeat scan after 3 months, now in the scan ( ultrasound whole abdomen) done today, the cyst have grown to 3.5cm x 3.5cm, also, I am having persistent low grade fever from past 30 days, fever comes during day, upto 99.5° and goes normal at night. Urine routine shows 5-8 puss cells and urine culture is normal, CRP is negative, CBC shows low Hb of 9, ESR is 27. I do not have any pain or itching, and periods are also regular. My question is if the cyst can be a cause of fever and what further diagnosis and treatment should be done? Thanks is advance

Cyst is absolutely not the cause for your fever. You can take a course of low dose hormone pill from day 5 of bleeding everyday same time once daily for 21 days. The cyst will disappear. Check USG and then do an assessment again after your next period. Please let me know ...what s the content of the cyst?
