Cyst in right ovary is big
I have been diagnosed with cyst in right ovary measuring 51X43. My gynaec told it's already big and if it continues to grow then I will have to undergo surgery for removal of it. She has prescribed oral contraceptive for shrinking purpose (as told by her). Will my condition get normal after taking the medication? Am getting continuous stomach ache every now and then.

Whether this cyst ll respond to ocp ll depend on what type of a cyst it is.. If its a simple cyst then it should respond to treatment.. If its not a simple cyst then it ll not respond to ocp.. U ll hv to do laparoscopy cystectomy for it.. Initiate a direct consult with ultrasound report for a definitive opinion
