I had a ct scan done and it says there is area of arterial enhancement in the right lobe of the liver may represent a flash enhancing av malformation I am booking in for a multiphasic ct scan as well Do u know what that means or what it could be

It indicates a possible AV malformation It could have been there foe years If you are allergic to iodine based dye then a multiphasic ct is needed if not a contrast enhanced ct will also give the information Please upload the ct report for me to review
