Dr I had a ct scan of whole spine which was normal . Now what is the risk of radiation for ct induced cancer ..

In single scan no risk. Don't do self. Do Only when doctor advised

Hi the ct scan uses x rays which is a type of ionizing radiation. One ct scan dose is 7 m SV, so the risk is less but it increases with repeated scans. Hence avoid unnecessary scans
