It depends on what condition you want to see. Any disease inside intestinal lumen can be better visible by colonoscopy. CT abdomen is mostly for solid organs like liver kidney spleen pancreas etc. However a few lesions in intestine can be seen on CT abdomen too for initial evaluation or suspicious lesion.
