Crystals found in diaper

Asked for Male, 29 Years

Hi Dr., This us for my 11 month old boy. We found some crystals today and a couple of days ago in the dialer while cleaning first thing in the morning. His diaper changes are regular. He has been eating solids and drinking formula milk well. He drinks water as well regularly. Not sure what the crystals are. Can you let us know if it is serious and I need to visit the Pediatrician immediately?

Hello ! Crystals in urine r common . Maintain hydration . Do CUE test (urine examination test).

Hi Sometimes urine crystals are normal But for better assessment do one basic urine routine and microscopy Keep follow up with Paediatrician on teleconsultation
