I have check creatinine level regularly, last year my creatinine level was 1.2 after a gap of 1 year, i check my creatinine level again result came back as 1.3. what is reason of fluctuation creatinine level and do I need medication.

0.1 mg difference after a gap of one year only shows normal variation.
Please get complete KFT done and consult a General Physician on Practo with the report

Creatinine is the left over product in your body following metabolic processes. It, in normal cases is filtered out by kidneys. Fluctuation may either be due to hypermetabolic state or due to kidneys not functioning to their capacity. Your Creatinine is on a higher side but it is still in the range. Consult if and when required.

It can be dehydration. Please recheck S. Creatinine after 10 days and consult with a physician for further management
