Creatinine level 0.56
Hello Doctors, My wife was advised for a MRI scan (contrast) for face and neck. As a part of it we have given the blood test for creatinine and we found that in the reports the level was 0.56 (Hospital has given ranges were 0.7 to 1.2 mg/dl) Please advise what does this means? In oct we did the blood test through Practo and the creatinine level came as 0.5 (normal ranges are considered between 0.5 to 0.8 mg/dl) As the ranges are different we want understand the impact of the same.

Creatinine comes from muscle. Lower normal range sometimes mean lesser muscle mass. But this level is normal. Nothing to worry about
