Hello doctor, good morning, I am having fever since3 days now yesturday I did covid test today the report will come, tomorrow my dad is going to gurgaon and because I have fever he want to do his covid test so he bought covid testing kit, I want to ask will the kit show accurate results or not? And he also has cold and dry cough

It's Rapid Antigen Test which has less sensitivity when compared to RT PCR Also Sample should be properly collected and mixed with diluent given in the kit If Negative, it's better to confirm by RT PCR which is done free of cost by Govt of India
