It DOES NOT indicate the severity of infection.
2. The CT SCAN (CTSS) CT severity score:
Given in CT report of lungs (maximum score 25 ) indicates amount of lung tissue having pneumonia.
This tells us how badly lungs are damaged.
More the score, more severe disease.
As you haven't done CT scan of lungs, severity of infection cannot be found.
Next Steps
monitor saturation thrice a day.
seek consult for medications.
evaluation for comorbidity like hypertension and diabetes, along with blood test : inflammatory markers is essential.
