Hi,
My father, 54, got diagnosed with covid on May 4th. His symptoms started on May 3rd, Fever around 102 since. Mild cough. Oxygen is 96-97-98, while sitting and while lying down its 95-96, pulse is 65-70. He is diabetic and take medication for that.
Diabetes is okay, no major issue with that. Got some blood work done on May 6th which is
CRP which was less than 2. D-Dimer - 0.87 and hemogram which showed platelets - 71000, TLC 1.6 around and ESR - 31.
He is on medication
Arithomyzin 500 mg
Fabiflu 400 mg 4 times a day (800 mg in morning and 800 in evening) as per recommendation.
For fever dolo 650 mg + half meftal forte
Multivitamins
Vitamin C
Takes
Vitamin D weekly for now 60k.
And glimstar 500 mg for diabetes
My question is it's been almost 7-8 days his fever stays around 101-102. Sometimes jumps to 102.4 and as soon as he takes medication it subsides for 10 hours and keeps coming back
Is it normal? Any suggestions? Anything required? As reports are okay for blood & O2 is ok.
