Covid query
I want to ask a query regarding covid 19, if a collegue of my office is infected by covid, if i weared N95 mask all time and had a proper hand hygiene. Can i get infected by covid 19?. Is there any chances of getting infected.? Till now his report is not yet received. Please guide me.

Less likely but advisable to get an rtpcr after 3-4 days of contact. Till then isolate yourself until results

See clearly speaking chances of getting covid infection if you take proper precautions is very less.no need to panic just wait fir his reports and even if he comes positive and you dont have any symptoms no need of testing...inacase if u have any symptoms then get tested urself asap.

Maintain hand hygiene, wear N95 mask in crowded places. Regarding the chance of catching it from a colleague, it might be a possibility given that it is closed space and we are always not aware of who's symptomatic or not

Are there chances. Yes absolutely. However it is good responsible behavior on your side to get yourself tested. Keep in mind,after coming in contact with someone who is positive, it may take upto 2-5 days for the virus to reflect on an RTPCR Test of another person. Stay safe. Continue practicing social distancing rules

It's doubtful but since you are a primary contact you quarantine yourself for atleast 7 days and get covid RTpcr test done
