Covid positive with low grade fever

Asked for Male, 40 Years

Dear lifesavers, I am having continuous low grade fever ranging from 99 to 100 from past 8 days. I came covid positive on 28 Nov. I am taking pcm 500 every 4 hour, azithromycin once daily.. But whatever I do, fever remains continued. Even if I don't eat pcm fever remains between 99 to 100. Please advise why this is happening and why fever is not going. My smell was initially gone but now it's back, but taste is yet to come to normal. I have cough as well. This not going fever is horrifying me. Please help.

Mild fever can stay upto 2 weeks before recovering. Please check other markers such as ESR, CRP,D Dimer, SGPT etc for better evaluation
