Covid negative test
Are OTC self testing kits like Covifind reliable? Qe are all covid positive, so thinking of self testing after 7 days isolation, with these kits rather than RT-PCR..

Otc self testing kits are basically rapid antigen kits. Rapid antigen is reliable if it gives a positive result, if it gives a negative result, covid still needs to be ruled out by doing an rtpcr as negative results of these kits are not reliable

When positive yes sure positive, but when negative , pt could still have covid so negative tests should be reconfirmed with RTPCR
