Covid care
My father tested covid positive on 13.09.2021. On 21.09.2021 also he retook the test and results are still positive, ct value is 30 which was previously 17. CRP value is 43. He is a sugar and hypertension patient. Fasting sugar 103 and Pp 205. Already 10 days have passed. Now he has no other symptoms except weakness in body. Oxygen level is between 94-96. Doctor has suggested to do LDH and D dimer test. Doctor has also said that if LDH and D Dimer test results are not good, steroid need to be given to my father which in turn will increase sugar and will require insulin. Is steroid good for covid patients? My father's treatment is being done from home. My father has a history of haematomasis in the year 1989. Will it be safe to use steroids?
