There are patients where the lungs are not involved at all, but majority of the cases have minor to major lung involvement ranging from pneumonia to ARDS.

There are patients wherein we see absolutely no lung involvement. But the classic symptoms are present of covid without cough. So lung involvement is optional. I would opine that around 20 -25 percent of patients don't have complete lung involvement.
