Could it be aspiration in new born
Hi I feeded my 80 days old baby at 10pm, before while feeding him he choked and coughed for long a while , I am worrying if he could get aspiration, later on after a while I feeded him, will aspiration develop slowly, it's been 52 minutes since his feed, t
do I wait for changes in respiratory breathing?, I feel he is wet crying, and will aspiration clear if I give nebuliser every 2-3hrs??how quickly can symptoms develop?, he burped (initially when he choked) he burped later on too when I feeded him after a while, currently he is mouthing and playing, I am fearing can he get aspiration it's past 52 minutes.

Hi dear
If u are seeing in change in his breathing pattern or u have a doubt its better to go to a doctor and get his chest examined to be sure rather than wait and watch.
Otherwise if u are feeling he is playful and active So there is nothing much to worry about and usually this much small babies do get such issues so keep them upright for longer periods after feeding eventually they will get used to feeding so this issue will resolve.
