Helo doc my 20 months old baby has cough with mucus.. please suggest some medicine to clear out cough... He doesn't take steam as he cries alot...

Hello,
It is not that simple with such younger babies to just give a medicine for cough.
Children below 5 year of age cannot remove cough on their own.

For 20 months baby with cough usually won’t occur unlike if associated symptoms like fever
Looks like some dust allergens
Unfortunately we cannot take mucus out of the lungs , we just break the mucus which is mucolytic
Drops Mucolite
0-5 ml -0-0.5 ml for 5 days enough
