Cough since 2 weeks
My sister had typhoid and after that she devloped cough, it's not very frequent but she cough mostly in the night part. I had a xray of her today. She's having burness in stomach when she takes any antibiotics My sister is 20 year old and 43kgs Thank you very much

I think she needs detailed evaluation, reasons being 1. Her immuno compromised state may lead to tb as India is endemic 2. Typhoid per se can have extraintestinal manifestation  in lungs

- sputum AFB and Gene xpert if negative, definitely need urgent evaluation

Xray is suggestive of tuberculosis..do a sputum AFB and Gene Xpert...and consult pulmonologist..

The xray  shows infection. May be Tuberculosis. Pl do sputum for Afb and sputum for cb not. Also do sputum for pyogenic group of organisms. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
