Cough for last 30 days
I have been suffering from cough for last 30 days and consulted with two physician but the condition is not improving... Taken antibiotics azithral 500 but of no use... The cough gets elevated in afternoon and evening... No disturbance in sleep... Kindly suggest a remedy...

Hello! Your problem could be chronic sinusitis leading to a post nasal drip and throat irritation. This could be the reason for your persistent cough. A diagnostic nasal endoscopy will help to confirm the diagnosis. Antihistamines like levocetrizine and a topical steroid nasal spray like fluticasone preparations can be useful along with a cough suppressant temporarily.
