Cough for baby
My 8 month daughter was having fever and cough. Fever is gone using calpol. Doctor on call has asked to give defcort drops for dry cough. Is it safe for babies?

Don't use defcort drops . Give syrup calpol
And syrup. Maxtra 2.5 ml BD

Hi, defcort drops are generally not needed in cases of dry cough, these are steroid preparations and should be reserved for severe cases of allergic cough preferably
