I was smoker and have quit smoking n haven't smoked for the past 2 week When I cough I spit black substance which looks like tar what should I do. I'm worried as the coughing causes severe pain in my stomach and chest

Hi, Welcome to Practo, Good to hear that you have quit smoking. Are you sure that black material is coming while coughing only, or is it associated with nausea and belching. Cause this black material can be because of soot or infection in Chest.
