My mom knee was paining from 1 month had consulted doctor he done x ray after that he gave shot of corticosteroid to my mom knee then after she is feeling ok without pain that these have any side effects

It has chondrotoxic effects..but that is not evident in one shot. It has lot of advantages in turn in form of relieving pain and suppressing knee inflammation.
Do not repeat it again.
