Cortical irregularity in both kidneys
My father aged 48 gone through the CT scan as followup after the colon resection surgery.. In Ct report the other finding findings are normal. But for kidney it is mentioned as both kidney shows cortical irregularities.. Plz clarify its meaning Although in last CT there are findings of multiple calcui of 3 in number in both kidneys measuring approx 3mm each. Thanks in advance

Cortical irregularities may be due to past urinary infections or current infection if any..multiple small stones are incidental and he is not having any pain due to it..so nothing active is to be done..don't worry.
