Corn starch/corn flour
Does adding corn starch to soup makes it unhealthy to eat? I usually have soup at night so can i add corn starch to makee it thick? Will it cause any problems?

Hi Corn starch is not so good for daily consumption as it contains lot of high energy bad calories and zero in good cslories..and is also very high in GI (Glycemic Index) a simple carb ( very refined flour) which turns into glucose as it gets digested... No amount of fiber is present in it.. For making the soup thick you can add besan flour which is healthy and is also less in calories... It's not recommended for daily consumption.. Thankyou

Regular consumption is not a healthy option. You can opt healthy alternatives like raw banana flour, arrowroot flour etc
